Sweet and Spicy French Toast

I remember my mom making her version of French toast but it was savory  It’s a rainy morning and I thought I wanted to reinvent this toast and here is my take on it. Now remember to add only a pinch of cinnamon coz this spice is very overpowering. You can replace red chilli powder with black pepper powder. The end product is really amazing and I would suggest you try it at least once.

Ingredients:

Egg – 2, well beaten
Milk – 3 tbsp
Brown Bread Slices – 8
Cinnamon – a pinch
Salt – to taste
Red Chili Powder – to taste
Castor Sugar – 1 tbsp
Honey – 1 tbsp
Ghee -3 tbsp

Method:

Break two eggs and beat well
Now add all the spices and milk and mix well.

Heat a pan and drizzle some oil
Dip the Bread in the Egg mixture and place
it on the pan.

Allow it to cook on the underside and
then flip and cook.
Serve Hot

Break two eggs and beat well.
Now add all the spices and milk and mix well.
Heat a pan (tawa) and drizzle a little bit of ghee and allow it to heat up on medium heat.
Dip the Bread in the Egg mixture and place it on the pan.
Allow it to cook on the underside and then flip and cook.
Cook approximately 2 minutes on medium heat on both sides.

Remove from the pan and serve hot.
