I remember my mom making her version of French toast but it was savory It’s a rainy morning and I thought I wanted to reinvent this toast and
here is my take on it. Now remember to add only a pinch of cinnamon coz this
spice is very overpowering. You can replace red chilli powder with black pepper
powder. The end product is really amazing and I would suggest you try it at least once.
Ingredients:
Egg – 2, well beaten
Milk – 3 tbsp
Brown Bread Slices – 8
Cinnamon – a pinch
Salt – to taste
Red Chili Powder – to taste
Castor Sugar – 1 tbsp
Honey – 1 tbsp
Ghee -3 tbsp
Method:
Break two eggs and beat well |
Now add all the spices and milk and mix well.
|
Heat a pan and drizzle some oil |
Dip the Bread in the Egg mixture and place
it on the pan.
|
Allow it to cook on the
underside and then flip and cook. |
