Tomato Aloo Cheese Toast

I never added tomatoes while making toasts but I gave it a try and it turned out quite well. The sourness and sweetness of the tomatoes was balanced well with the spices added. I added few veggies and it made an amazing breakfast. Hope you try it. Happy Cooking...




Ingredients:

Potato - 3(boiled and mashed)
Tomato - 1
Beans - 2 tbsp
Green peas - 2 tbsp
Brown bread slices - 12
Processed Cheese slices - 6
Onion - 1 (medium)
Green chillies - 2
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Kasuri methi - 1 tbsp
Salt per taste
Ghee/Oil/Butter for greasing

Method:



In a vessel, add boiled potatoes, chopped tomatoes, onion, green chillies, beans, peas, dry spices and kasuri methi.

 

Mix well


Apply the mixture on one side of the bread.


Keep a cheese slice on it.


Place another slice of bread,press it lightly.
Place it in a greased sandwich toaster and cook using 1 tsp of butter, till it turns brown and crisp on both the sides




In a vessel, add boiled potatoes, chopped tomatoes, onion, green chillies, beans, peas, dry spices and kasuri methi.  Mix well.
Take two slices of bread. Apply the potato mixture on one of the slice and add a cheese slice. Place another slice of bread,press it lightly.
Place it in a greased sandwich toaster and cook using 1 tsp of butter, till it turns brown and crisp on both the sides. 
Repeat the same process with other slices.
Serve hot with ketchup.
