Paneer Bhurji

Bhurji means crumbled. Usually Bhurji is made of eggs but the vegetarian version is Paneer Bhurji. Very easy to make and can be had with bread or roti. Can be had in breakfast as well. This is my simple version of bhurji. Hope you like it. Happy cooking...

Ingredients:

200 gms paneer, crumbled
Tomato Puree - 1 cup
Onion - 1
Green chilly - 2
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Coriander - cumin powder - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves for garnish
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp

Method:

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.

Add chopped green chillies and onions.

Add ginger garlic paste.

Add tomato puree.

Add dry spices and mix well.

Add paneer crumble and salt and mix well. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Crumble the paneer and keep aside
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter add chopped green chillies and onions. When the onions become transparent, add ginger garlic paste. Let it cook for about 2 minutes. Add tomato puree. Add turmeric powder, coriander and cumin powder. Mix well and cook until oil leaves the sides. Finally add salt and paneer crumble. Mix well and let it cook for 1-2 minutes.
Finally garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
