Raw Banana Fry

My mom makes vazhakkai upperi(dry curry) in many ways. This is my favorite. The change I made to this that this is a no onion/no garlic curry. Very simple to make and very quick as well. The masala powder can be used for potato or yam curry as well. This is a perfect side dish for rasam or sambar rice. I am sure you will be tempted to try. So here is the recipe. Happy Cooking...

Ingredients:

Raw banana / vazhakkai - 1 big
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1 tsp

Green gram/Moong dal/Paasi paruppu - 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds/Methi dana/vendayam - 1 tsp
Dry red chillies - 2( depending on how spicy you want)
Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
