Mushroom and Sprouts Rice

This is a perfect lunch idea. Healthy and can be made quickly. You do not need too many ingredients and I added a twist and it was yummm.... You can make this with freshly cooked rice however I used leftover rice and let me tell you it actually tastes better with leftover rice. The twist I added here is the masala I used. I used Pav bhaji masala... yep you read it right... it added a unique taste to the rice. So lets get into the recipe... Happy cooking...

Ingredients:

Pre cooked rice - 2 1/2 cups

Mixed Sprouts - 1/2 cup
Mushroom - 150 gms
Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Pav bhaji masala - 1 tbsp
Cloves - 4
Cardamom - 2
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste

Method

In a kadhai, add oil. Add cloves, cardamom and mixed sprouts. Cook for about 2 minutes.

Now add mushrooms.

Add salt and chilli powder. Cook for about 3 - 5 minutes.

Now add pav bhaji masala, mix well.

Finally add cooked rice and give it a final stir and serve hot.

Wash and clean mushroom and cut into quarters.

In a kadhai, add oil. Add cloves, cardamom and mixed sprouts. Cook for about 2 minutes. Now add mushrooms. Add salt and chilli powder. Cook for about 3 - 5 minutes. Make sure you dont overcook them as mushrooms cook quickly. Now add pav bhaji masala, mix well. Finally add cooked rice and give it a final stir and serve hot.
